Tony Martinez, broker/owner

I have over 20 years of experience in the northern Colorado real estate market, with an emphasis on Boulder County and surrounding areas. I also have considerable knowledge of the Boulder County investment property and rental markets, having owned and managed several investment properties in the area. Roughly thirty percent of our clientele is comprised of real estate investors. I specialize in relocation, residential sales and small apartment buildings.

I formed Stellar Properties in 2004, which currently employs four agents. In 2008, Stellar Properties ranked among the top 5 highest producing single-office real estate brokerages in Boulder and Broomfield Counties as publicized by the Boulder County Business Report.

I obtained a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from New Mexico State University and an M.S. in Computer Information Systems from the University of Denver. I worked for IBM in Boulder for 12 years - the last several years spent in management and account management positions. I left IBM to hold director level and account management positions with several start-up information technology companies in the Boulder County area. I then left the information technology industry to pursue my true passion: residential and investment real estate!

My career in the information technology industry has given me extensive experience in successfully negotiating complex contracts. Clients consistently provide feedback on my ability to remain calm during tough negotiations, while maintaining a very high level of professionalism and urgency.

I am currently on the board of directors for the Boulder Area Realtor Association, Parenting Place, and the Holiday Neighborhood HOA. I also serve as president of my BNI chapter and I am very involved in the local community. 

 I live in Boulder and have two wonderful children. We love the Colorado lifestyle including backpacking, camping and skiing. What a great place to live and raise children!
